Angelina Jolie is the bookies favourite to win the Best Actress award at the 2025 Oscars
Betting odds are now offered on some of the biggest markets at the 2025 Oscars and one of those is Best Actress with Angelina Jolie the 6/4 favourite with betting sites to win the award.
Jolie will play opera singer Maria Callas in the movie Maria which will premiere at the 81st Venice International Film Festival and there has already been massive hype around the release.
Bookies now say there's a 40% chance of Jolie winning the Best Actress award 25 years on from winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in Girl, Interrupted back in 2000.
The American actress has also been nominated for Best Actress back in 2009 for Changeling but lost out to Kate Winslet and she'll be hoping to finally win the award here.

Emma Stone won the 2024 award and also features in the market for this year's Best Actress
Emma Stone was awarded the 2024 Best Actress for her role in Poor Things and she has teamed up again with director Yorgos Lanthimos for the film Kinds of Kindness.
Stone was the early favourite to win Best Actress for the second year in-a-row but has since drifted out to 4/1 in the betting market.
The movie released back in June to favourable reviews from movie critics and she'll be hoping to be there or thereabouts in the nominations once again.

Kevin Hart leads the way in the betting market to host the famous ceremony next
Odds are also offered on who will host the 2025 Oscars with Kevin Hart leading the way despite saying earlier this year that he would never do it.
Hart was pencilled in to host the famous ceremony back in 2019 but had to pull out due to a series of controversial tweets and jokes he'd made 10 years prior.
This led to Hart telling Sky News back in January that he is "destroying any hope" that people have on him hosting the Oscars in future saying he would not do it.
Bookies though keep him as the 5/1 favourite with a whole host of famous names appearing in the betting odds to present the show in 2025.
