The 2025 Academy Awards nominations will be announced in January and betting sites are already offering odds on who will win some of the biggest categories on the night including Best Actress.
Mikey Madison leads the latest market to win the Oscar for Best Actress with the 25-year-old sitting at 4/6 favourite for her performance in the movie Anora.
Anora is the most recent recipient of the Palme d'Or award which is given to the director of the Best Feature Film at the Cannes Film Festival and it's thought that success could follow at the Oscars.
William Hill's latest market puts Madison as the 4/6 favourite to win Best Actress with her role as Brooklyn stripper Anora in the movie given massive critical acclaim across movie reviewers.

Former favourite Angelina Jolie has drifted in the betting market out to 5/1
Angelina Jolie topped the early betting markets to win the Best Actress award at the 2025 Oscars for her role in Maria released in cinemas at the end of November before hitting Netflix in December.
Jolie stars in the title role in the film about opera singer Maria Callas with positive reviews from critics early on in preview screenings for the movie and her starring spot.
Bookmakers have the actress third in the latest market to win the Best Actress Oscar with the betting odds currently giving an implied probability of 16.7% that she wins.

The 2025 Oscars is currently pencilled in for Sunday 2nd March, with the ceremony starting in the early hours of Monday 3rd March here in the UK.
This year's awards show is a strange one to say the least with no real heavy favourites in the main categories unlike previous years where we've seen Best Picture's head into awards season with a clear favourite.
