Sir Keir Starmer now 1/3 favourite to be the next Prime Minister
Sir Keir Starmer is now as short as 1/3 to be the next Prime Minister following a thumping for the Conservative Party at last week's local elections.
The Tories lost 1063 councillors around the UK with Labour gaining 537 of them and the Liberal Democrats winning 407 and it could well be that we see a Coalition happen after the next election.
Bookmakers though say there's a 75% chance that Starmer is the next Prime Minister with the Labour Leader miles ahead of anyone else in the betting market.

Boris Johnson 7/1 second favourite in the betting market to take over from Rishi Sunak next
Despite reports in the past of Boris Johnson's political comeback, the former Prime Minister has remained fairly quiet in recent months.
Back in March, The Guardian reported that Johnson's closest supporters are "increasingly doubtful" that he could make a comeback as the PM due to his post-Brexit deal.
Despite this though bookmakers are still keeping Johnson as 7/1 second favourite in the betting market to be the next Prime Minister.
These latest betting odds give Johnson a 12.5% chance of taking over from Rishi Sunak as the next Prime Minister and he may well try to lead the Conservative party once again.

We're in the dark over when the next General Election will be with the next one not due until January 2025 but the PM could well call for one sooner.
