I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • 37% of Bond fans think the character has always been a Sexist
  • Bookmakers would make it an Evens bet to continue based on Poll Results
  • Men and Women Agree

Whilst Daniel Craig has recently said that there should never be a female James Bond he has also claimed that previous incarnations of James Bond have been sexist.

In a poll undertaken by YouGov polls, it would seem the general public would tend to agree with 37% saying Bond has always been a Sexist, whilst only 11% disagree and state Bond has never been a Sexist.

37% of people recently polled agree with Daniel Craig that Bond was sexist, but it is a 2/1 chance in betting odds that perception is changing and next Bond will not be seen this way. Over to you Tom Hardy!

Something to consider as Craig Steps down and the decision on the next Actor, or Actress indeed, to play Jams Bond in the next Movie.

If The Poll results also reflected how the Next James Bond Actor might be perceived it remains an EVENS chance with betting sites that Bond has always been and always be a Sexist

Will Bond Continue to be Perceived as Sexist

Perception Poll Results Odds
Yes and always has been 37% Evens
No, because Bond has changed 22% 2/1
No, and never has been 11% 5/1

Everyone Agrees

In what might be considered a slightly surprising aspect of the poll results, both men and women polled, agreed in equal numbers that Bond has always been sexist.

Perception All Men Women
Has never been sexist 11% 14% 9%
Use to be but not now 22% 25% 20%
Always been sexist 37% 38% 37%
Wasnt before but is now 2% 2% 2%

What is interesting and the studios might be please about is that 20% of those polled thought that Bond used to be sexist but has removed that trait come 2021

Both Men and Women agree in equal numbers that Bond has always been a sexist character. However, 25% of men think he has improved against only 20% of women. It is Evens betting odds the next James Bond is still seen as a sexist secret agent.
