Nolan has directed Taylor-Johnson on the movie Tenet back in 2020 and those ties have seen the actor rise up in the odds to play Bond.
There were also reports in The Sun back in 2022 that Taylor-Johnson had been screen-tested for the role of Bond in front of the film's producers.

Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan has become the new favourite to direct the next James Bond despite rubbishing rumours towards the end of last year.
Nolan is arguably the biggest director in the world currenlty with Oppenheimer's success seeing him at 1/10 to win his first ever Best Director Oscar next month.
The British director had been linked with directing the next two Bond movies but told The Associated Press while promoting Oppenheimer towards the back end of the year that there "sadly" is no truth to rumours.
