Bookies give odds of 6/1 that Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett faces Conor McGregor in 2023
A new year of MMA betting means a whole host of specials for the UFC in 2023 with bookies giving odds on a variety of different outcomes for the year.
The headline betting market is for Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett to fight Conor McGregor at some point in 2023 which would be a massive fight for the UK audience.
Star Sports give odds of 6/1 for the two to fight in 2023 with a probability of around 14% that it happens based on those odds.
Pimblett has spoke about fighting McGregor in the past, saying that “It would be the biggest pay-per-view that the UFC has ever seen" if the pair faced off.
The current most bought UFC fight of all-time belongs to McGregor for his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov which did approximately 2.4 million PPV buys.
Other specials include 5/1 odds that UFC President Dana White retires from the role in 2023
Further betting specials for the year include odds of 5/1 that Dana White steps down from his role as UFC President at some point in 2023.
2023 has started off controversially for White after a video showed him and his wife slapping each other in the face in Mexico on New Year's Eve.
There have been calls already for White to step down but the UFC President himself has suggested that no punishment will happen for the altercation.
Speaking of a potential departure from the UFC White said, "Me leaving hurts the company, hurts my employees, hurts the fighters. It doesn't hurt me."

UFC Welterweight champion Leon Edwards is 4/1 to keep his title by the end of the year
British fighter Leon Edwards is the current UFC Welterweight Champion after his massive victory over Kamaru Usman back at UFC 278 in August.
Edwards is set to defend his title in England on March 18 at the O2 Arena in a rematch against Usman at UFC 286.
Usman's manager Ali Abdelaziz has insisted that Usman is "good to go" for the rematch despite rumours it was in doubt.
The former Champion was pictured wearing a hand cast in December after surgery on a broken hand but his manager says there's no issues.
Leon Edwards is 4/1 to still be champion by the end of the year with a 20% chance of staying at the top of the Welterweight division by the end of 2023.
