Piastri and Norris Joint-Favourites Ahead of Miami Grand Prix

The Miami Grand Prix returns this weekend with a fierce intra-team rivalry brewing at the top of Formula 1.

Oscar Piastri, fresh from back-to-back wins, currently holds a 10-point lead over McLaren teammate Lando Norris and both men head to South Beach as joint 11/8 favourites to win with UK Betting Sites.

After a thrilling start to the 2025 season, Piastri has positioned himself as the early surprise of the championship, but Norris' qualifying speed and aggression mean this battle could go either way under the Florida sun.

Bet365's latest odds has both McLaren drivers as joint favourites to win the race with both given an implied probability of 42.1% to win.

What the expert says...
The fact Piastri and Norris are joint-favourites shows just how finely balanced McLaren’s season is right now. Norris needs a big performance here after struggling in 4th at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix last time out.

Verstappen, Russell, and Leclerc Chase the Leaders

Max Verstappen, who has won 2 of the 3 Miami Grand Prix' there has been, finds himself slightly on the outside looking in this year.

Priced at 5/1, the Red Bull driver cannot be counted out, especially if track temperatures and strategy come into play.

Meanwhile, George Russell (14/1) and Charles Leclerc (18/1) remain outside contenders although both Mercedes and Ferrari have struggled to consistently match McLaren's pace on street circuits this season.
