Mason Mount is now 4/6 to join Liverpool this summer with reports that the Reds are interested
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount is now odds on with bookmakers to become a Liverpool player in the summer with reports that the player could leave the club in the upcoming window.
The latest betting odds say Mount is as short as 4/6 to leave the Blues and join Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool with a midfield overhaul expected at Anfield this summer.
Paddy Power now say there's a 60% chance of Mount joining the Reds with the midfielder fitting the mould of what Klopp would be after to strengthen the numbers.
Mason Mount Next Club | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Liverpool | 4/6 | 60% |
Man Utd | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Bayern Munich | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Man City | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Manchester United are second favourites in the betting market and they also might be after a player that fits Mount's description in the upcoming transfer window.
The Reds currently have Marcel Sabitzer in midfield on loan from Bayern Munich but they might decide to sign Mount rather than trying to make that transfer permanent.
Mount still has chance of staying at Chelsea with contract talks expected to continue
It might not be over in terms of Mason Mount's Chelsea career but reports in The Athletic this week say that the England midfielder is no closer to signing a new contract there.
Mount has been at the club since the age of six but reports continue to grow that this will be the last season that he has at Stamford Bridge.
It may be that staying in the Premier League with either Liverpool or Man United is the favourite option for Mount but Thomas Tuchel taking over at Bayern Munich could also prove tempting for Mount.
Chelsea now as big as 7/1 to finish in the Top 6 this season
Graham Potter has had a mixed start to his career as Chelsea manager to say the least with the club languishing in 10th spot in the Premier League table.
The Blues are just 4 points off 6th place in the Premier League though which would see them qualify for the Conference League next season and guarantee some form of European football.
The latest betting odds say there's a 12% chance of Chelsea being in the Top 6 at the end of the season with just 11 games left to play.
