Footballer Michael Owen's daughter Gemma will appear on the show as a contestant this series

ITV show Love Island has been known recently to have more and more influencers appearing and that's no different this year with Gemma Owen featuring on the show.

Former footballer Michael Owen's daughter Gemma is 5/2 second favourite with bookmakers to be the top female on this year's series.

Gemma Owen already has over 13,000 Instagram followers, with new contestants usually having less than that before blowing up into the millions.

Top Female Love Island 2022 Odds Probability
Tasha Ghouri 2/1 33.3%
Gemma Owen 5/2 28.6%
Paige Thorne 9/2 18.2%
Indiyah Polack 6/1 14.3%
Amber Beckford 10/1 9.1%

Of course it's Gemma Owen who is stealing the headlines because of her famous father, but it is actually Tasha Ghouri who is the favourite in the Top Female market.

Ghouri will be the first deaf contestant on the ITV show and actually has more followers than Gemma Owen on Instagram already, with just over 28,000.

Michael Owen's daughter Gemma appearing on this year's Love Island will obviously steal headlines, but it's deaf contestant Tasha Ghouri who is the 2/1 favourite to be top female this year!

Luca Bish is the 5/2 favourite to be the top male on this year's series of the hit ITV show

Brighton's Luca Bish is the 5/2 favourite to be Top Male on ITV's Love Island this series, with 6 lads set to enter the contest.

Bish is a Sussex fishmonger who has a famous ex in vlogger Saffron Barker and this may influence his popularity in the show.

In the space of 24 hours, Bish has gone from 3,000 to 8,000 instagram followers and by the time the first episode of the show ends it could well be 10 times that.

Our Love Island blog takes a look at each contestant's current Instagram following and how that may influence the odds here.

Further specials include any episode of the show to be the most watched ever at 5/2

Betting sites have a variety of different specials for the latest series of Love Island, including 5/2 that any episode is the most watched ever.

The reality show grows it's audience year by year and it would be no surprise if that was to happen on this year's series.

Bookies go 8/1 that any islander from a previous series comes back and wins the show, which would be a shake up that we've not yet seen on Love Island.

There are a whole host of massive names that have come out of the famous series and bosses know that putting one of them in would help boost ratings even further.

With the show growing in popularity year by year, bookmakers give odds of just 5/2 that one of this year's episodes has the highest ever views.
