I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Drivers Championship comes down to last race in Abu Dhabi
  • Lewis Hamilton 67% Favourite with Bookies to land 8th title at 1/2 odds.
  • Max Verstappen is 6/4 to break British hearts according to bookies after being 1/5 three weeks ago

The 2021 F1 drivers championship comes down to the final race in Abu Dhabi after Lewis Hamilton has come from nowhere in betting terms to become the favourite, afforded a 67% chance of gaining a record 8th title in F1.

Just four weeks ago, Max Verstappen was as short as 1/5 in the betting to win the Championship this year, now Hamilton has only to finish ahead of him to clinch the title and clear out the bookmakers following an avalanche of betting support for the Brit.

2021 F1 Drivers Championship Winner Betting Odds

Driver Odds Probability
Lewis Hamilton 1/2 (1.50) 66.67%
Max Verstappen 6/4 (2.50) 40%
Hamilton need only finish ahead of Verstappen in Abu Dhabi to clinch a record 8th title and bookmakers have him 1/2 favourite to do so with a 67% chance.

Sports Personality

Lewis is the current reigning BBC Sports Personality of the year having picked up the award last year, and whilst he remains around 10/1 to win it again this year, behind a very short priced, US Open Tennis Winner Emma Raducanu, his odds will shorten a little more if not his realistic chance of grabbing the award for the second year running should he win in Abu Dhabi.

Sports Personality of the year award betting saw lots of activity, chops and changes throughout the summer with the Olympics and Paralympics but since Radacanu's incredible win at Flushing Meadows, there has been little in the way of a challenge according to bookies of her winning this award.

Sports Personality of the Year Winner Betting Odds

Odds Probability
Emma Raducanu 1/5 83.33%
Lewis Hamiton 12/1 7.69%
Tom Daley 50/1 1.96%
Tyson Fury 100/1 0.91%
Adam Peaty 151/1 0.66%

If Lewis hamilton were able to win his 8th Drivers Championship his 12/1 odds for Sports Personality might be expected to come down, but he has much to do to beat US Open Tennis Champion Emma Raducanu and win the SPOTY award for consecutive years.
