David Beckham now 5/1 to appear at King Charles III's Coronation

King Charles III's Coronation is set to take place next weekend and UK Betting Sites are giving odds around potential celebrity appearances at the big event with David Beckham a big name in the market.

Beckham is 5/1 in the betting market to attend the ceremony and the former England football captain was seen queuing for 13 hours to see the late Queen lying in state back in September.

Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson is the 6/4 favourite in the market to be pictured at the event with a 40% chance of doing so according to Betway's odds.

Other famous faces featuring towards the top of the market include Sir Cliff Richard and Nigel Farage, with the longest odds picks including Joey Essex and Jeremy Corbyn at 100/1.

The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II was the very first service to be televised back in June 1953 with more than 27 million people in the UK watching on television according to Royal.uk.

Queen Elizabeth II's funeral was the biggest audience in UK TV history with 37.5m viewers recorded across different UK channels for the event with nearly every channel showing the event and it's expected to be the same for the Coronation.
