I've spent over 20 years inside the betting industry. I'll guide you to avoid the hype, ignore the noise, and steer clear of the common pitfalls that catch out everyday punters.

  • Katie McGlynn has one the first dance-off but is favourite to fight for another
  • Ugo Monye and Greg Wise could join McGlynn in the showdown
  • Sara Davies and Judi Love are not 100% Safe with 15% and 10% chances respectively of bowing out
There is a 75% chance the next celebrity to be eliminated on Stricly will be either Katie Mcglynn, Ugo Monye or Greg Wise according to bookmakers odds who have them all 100/30 jpint-favourites to go

Katie McGlynn is still in the running for the glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing - but only just!

She had to come through a dance-off with fellow soap star Nina Wadia last weekend and gets a second chance to impress the judges this week after being saved.

Betting sites have reacted by installing her as favourite for week 3 elimination already, but she has competition from a couple of fellas.

Next Strictly Elimination Betting Odds

Odds Probability
Katie McGlynn 10/3 23%
Greg Wise 10/3 23%
Ugo Monye 10/3 23%
Sara Davies 11/2 15%
Judi Love 8/1 11%
Tilly Ramsay 10/1 9%
Robert Webb 14/1 7%

Shrewd punters would have been able to bet Katie McGlynn to win the first dance off at odds of 9/2 with bookmakers prior to the weekend, whilst Ugo Monye was favourite to be the first to go.

Ugo Dropped a Shoulder

Former rugby player and TV pundit Ugo Monye was the favourite to be voted off last week after taking the position of the least favoured from Nina Wadia, but as it turned out, he used a move or two to completely avoid the dance-off and lives to dance another week.

Greg is the Outside

When it comes to who will be the highest male finisher in this year's strictly Greg Wise may not have high expectations if Strictly betting is anything to go by.

By way of being one of the favourites to be the second celebrity voted off the show, he is also the outsider of all the male dancers to win the show at a whopping 40/1. A market headed by John Whaute for whom you could only bet at just over EVENS to be the last man standing.

Strictly Come Dancing Top Male Betting

Top Man Odds Probability
John Whaite 11/10 48%
Adam Peaty 3/1 25%
Rhys Stephenson 11/2 15%
Tom Fletcher 15/2 12%
Dan Walker 8/1 11%
Robert Webb 9/1 10%
Ugo Monye 33/1 3%
Greg Wise 40/1 2%

It is John Whaite against all the other guys as he takes up 48% of the market as 11/10 favourite to be the top male in this years Strictly Come Dancing. Combined, Ugo Monye and Greg Wise have only a 55 chance in contrast.
