Leicester midfielder James Maddison is now 9/2 with bookies to make the move to Newcastle in January,
Reports early on Friday have linked Newcastle with a double swoop for James Maddison and Youri Tielemans in the upcoming transfer window.
The Magpies had bids rejected for Maddison in the Summer with Leicester hoping to tie the midfielder down to a new contract.
Nothing has been agreed yet though and with Leicester reportedly struggling financially they may end up needing to sell.
