Avatar 2 remains one of the favourites with the original film still highest grossing film ever

Avatar 2 is expected to have a massive holiday period at the Box Office towards the end of the year, with its current planned release set for December 16th 2022.

The first Avatar film has the highest all-time Box Office grossing with $2,847,397,339 being taken worldwide by the film.

James Cameron's sequel has been highly anticipated and 13 years on we're set to see the second part of the franchise.

Avatar had massive success in part due to the 3D technology that the movie had, being one of the first massive films to use the 3D technology to its maximum potential.

Paddy Power make it still 5/6 to be the highest grossing film of the year, but it now shares favouritism with Top Gun: Maverick.

Top Gun: Maverick remains the biggest film of this year so far

Tom Cruise film Top Gun: Maverick is still the biggest film of this year so far, with more than $1.1b taken so far at the Box Office.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout was Cruise's previous highest grossing film with $791m earned globally but that's been smashed by Top Gun: Maverick.

The sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun, Maverick has seen massive praise from film buffs and this has been echoed by the Box Office figures.

The movie is 5/6 joint favourite with Avatar 2 to be the highest grossing film of 2022 from the 16/1 it was just at the start of June.

Top Gun: Maverick is in from 5/6 from 16/1 last month to be the highest grossing film of 2022 after a massive month at the Box Office!
