Lando Norris now shortens into 11/8 to win the Formula 1 Drivers Championship

British driver Lando Norris is now 11/8 with bookmakers to win the Formula 1 Drivers Championship after his third win of the season saw him close the gap on Max Verstappen at the top of the standings.

Norris is now 52 points behind Verstappen with a dominant display in the Singapore Grand Prix seeing him leading the race for every single lap despite almost binning it in the barriers on two occasions.

Despite that victory though there's still a big gap to make up on Verstappen in the scheme of things with just 6 races left of the 2024 F1 Calendar.

Bet365 though think there's a decent chance that Norris does eventually close that gap and win the title for the first time in his career.

Lando Norris' fine form sees him now shorten into 11/8 to win the F1 Drivers Championship with bookies giving him a 42% chance of winning the title this season just behind Max Verstappen!

Max Verstappen remains the odds-on favourite to win the Championship once again this year

Reigning champion Max Verstappen is still odds-on favourite in the betting market to win the Drivers Championship with a healthy lead remaining at the top.

It would take a big mess-up from the Dutch driver or his team Red Bull for Norris to eat away at that lead but there is always a chance in Formula 1 that it could happen.

Bookies though say there's a 63.6% chance that Verstappen holds onto his lead at the top of the Drivers Standings and wins his fourth title of his career so far.
