Elvis Presley's Smith & Wesson revolver is up for auction later this month with odds on how much it'll make

Elvis Presley's Smith & Wesson revolver will be auctioned off later this month with the gun originally given to the singer just nine months before his death in 1977.

Bookmakers are offering odds on how much the auction will make on Saturday 26 August with Rock Island Auction Company having the lot up ahead of the date.

They have an estimated price up for the sale of $60,000-$90,000 but the latest odds make the betting line over and under $110,000 with interest expected to be high.

The latest odds make it 4/6 to make it over $110,000 with those odds suggesting that there is a 60% chance of it getting well over the estimated price.

Currently evens odds to make under $110,000 at auction

Elvis Presley is one of the most well known and successful artists of all time and the latest release of the Elvis biopic has introduced him to a whole host of younger fans too.

Rock Island have set a realistic estimated price for the auction but interest in the memorabilia is expected to be high due to Elvis's massive reputation.

Bookies have it at evens to make under $110,000 at the auction which would see it fall into the price expectation that Rock Island have it set at.
