The betting odds though have shortened in recent weeks with bookies moving Stacey Slater from 3/1 down to just 6/4 now to be the killer.
With just over 3 months from Christmas Day's big show we should now start to see more hints and clues towards who the killer will be.
Odds from Betway though put Slater as the clear favourite to be the killer with those recent odds suggesting there's a 40% chance of it being the big character.

Recent reports in The Sun highlighted a recent storyline though which started to hint at one character in particular being the one who will be murdered at Christmas.
Nish Panesar was seen in scenes with Ian Beale where Beale referred to Panesar being stabbed in the back and it could well happen later this year.

Former Eastenders actor Danny Dyer is now down to just 6/1 to appear on this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! with the series on the way in the next few months.
Dyer left Eastenders last Christmas in a massive storyline where his character Mike Carter was killed off dramatically.
Fast forward a year on and we may see the popular star head into the jungle this year with his odds now shortening from 22/1 to just 6/1.
