Arsenal now 5/2 to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in the Summer Transfer Window

The race to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is seemingly hotting up with more and more clubs getting linked with the player in the past few weeks.

Arsenal remain the favourites with UK Betting Sites to sign Rice and have moved into 5/2 from the 3/1 that they were at the start of March to sign the England international.

BetVictor say there's a 28% chance of Rice signing for Arsenal following reports from journalist Fabrizio Romano stating that the Gunners "appreciate the player."

Mikel Arteta has reportedly been interested in the player since the start of the transfer window and it looks likely that Arsenal will at least make an attempt to sign the player.

Chelsea the new outright second favourites to sign Rice

Chelsea were one of 4 clubs joint second favourites in the betting market to sign Rice earlier this month but the Blues have since come down slightly in the betting market.

Rice spent 8 years in Chelsea's youth system before he was released by the club and it may well be that he has unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.

It's unclear what the Hammers will charge for the England international but judging by Jack Grealish's £100m move to Manchester City 2 years ago it might be something of the same.

Arsenal are currently 8 points clear in the race for the Premier League title

Arsenal are currently 8 points clear at the top of the Premier League table ahead of Manchester City in second spot.

City are 11/8 to win the league compared to Arsenal's 8/13 odds with bookies now making the Gunners the outright favourites to win their first title in nearly 20 years.

The pair are set to play each other towards the end of April in what is expected to be a shootout for the title according to fans and pundits alike.

Arsenal and Man City are battling for the Premier League title and the Gunners are now the ODDS ON favourites to win the league!
