Cristiano Ronaldo still 1/5 to join any Saudi Club next in his career

Cristiano Ronaldo remains a free agent with bookies saying that he's still 1/5 to join any Saudi Club as the next stage of his illustrious career.

Previous reports suggested that Ronaldo had agreed a £173m per-year contract with Saudi side Al Nassr with nothing confirmed by either party.

Despite reports saying that Al Nassr will move for Liverpool's Roberto Firmino instead, the latest betting odds still say there's an 83% chance that Ronaldo moves to Saudi Arabia next.

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Club Odds Probability
Any Saudi Club
1/5 83.3%
Sporting Lisbon 8/1 11.1%
Chelsea 12/1 7.7%
Newcastle 12/1 7.7%
PSG 14/1 6.7%

Move back to boyhood club Sporting Lisbon is 8/1 in the betting odds

Ronaldo has long been linked with signing for Sporting Lisbon again at some stage of his career and that could well be next on the cards.

The Portuguese superstar hasn't played for his boyhood club since leaving them back in 2003 to join Manchester United.

Fast forward almost 20 years though and he's now 8/1 to join Sporting in what is the second most likely outcome according to the betting odds.

Chelsea and Newcastle both joint 12/1 to be an English alternative for his next club

As always staying in the Premier League will be mentioned when it comes to Cristiano Ronaldo's next club but the odds say there's only a slim chance of that happening.

There's around a 7% chance that Ronaldo signs for either Chelsea or Newcastle as his next club with both moves priced at 12/1 according to bookmakers.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the past with reports back in the Summer stating that he would be signing for the Blues.

The then Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was reportedly uninterested though but new manager Graham Potter may have a different thought process around signing the forward.
