Niemann has been accused of cheating by World Champ Magnus Carlsen

Hans Niemann was accused of cheating by the World Champion Magnus Carlsen after the two played each other in early September.

Carlsen dropped out of that tournament straight after losing to Niemann with cheating accusations slowly building then.

Just two weeks later in an online game, Carlsen and Niemann met again with Carlsen playing one move before resigning therefore forfeiting the game.

Who is Hans Niemann?
Hans Niemann is an American Chess Grandmaster and Twitch Streamer - He entered the top 100 Junior players just 3 years ago and has had a meteoric rise in the FIDE chess ratings since and won the World Open Chess Tournament in Philadephia in 2021.

There's a 99% chance that he won't be caught cheating according to the betting odds

The latest betting odds on wether or not Niemann will be caught cheating show two ends of the spectrum in terms of probability.

Bookies say it's a 100/1 shot that Niemann is caught cheating at the US Open next year which would be massive for chess.
