Manchester City are now just 6/4 to win the Champions League this season after Round of 16 first leg win
The first batch of UEFA Champions League Round of 16 games were played this midweek and UK Betting Sites have now updated the betting market on who will win the competition after those fixtures were played.
Manchester City remain the betting favourites to win the Champions League once again this season after finally breaking their hoodoo last campaign by completing the treble with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan.
City faced Copenhagen on Tuesday night away in Denmark and ran out 3-1 winners to give them a decent lead on aggregate going into next month's second leg games.
This result saw bookmakers now make them 6/4 to win the Champions League this season with Bet365's latest betting odds giving them a 40% chance of winning the competition.
Champions League Winner 23/24 | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Manchester City | 6/4 | 40.0% |
Real Madrid | 9/2 | 18.2% |
Arsenal | 11/2 | 15.4% |

Bayern Munich now drift out to 8/1 after they lose 1-0 to Lazio on Wednesday
Bayern Munich have been the biggest movers in the betting market to win the Champions League with their odds now moving out from 4/1 to 8/1 to win the competition this season.
Thomas Tuchel's side were defeated 1-0 away to Lazio on Wednesday night after a poor performance and the German giants have a big task on their hands to overturn that in the second leg.
Bayern's chances of winning the Champions League now sit at just 11% judging by the odds and Harry Kane and co. will be hoping for a much better performance in the next game to go through to the Quarters.
