The trio’s selection has dramatically shifted the betting landscape, with odds significantly changing to win the series, reflecting the intrigue that comes with the Traitor role.
Carr, already a pre-series favourite thanks to his sharp humour and charm, remains towards the front of the pack, while Ross’s odds have crashed from 16/1 into 6/4 following the twist.
Singer-songwriter Cat Burns rounds out the early top three at 3/1.

Carr and Ross Rise After Traitor Reveal
Alan Carr (2/1) remains the towards the top of the market, bolstered by his wit and the immediate rapport he built with his fellow contestants in Episode 1.
Betting odds see his ability to charm and misdirect as ideal for the Traitor role and his natural popularity makes him one of the frontrunners both strategically and publicly.
Jonathan Ross (6/4), however, is the biggest mover. Initially dismissed as an outsider at 16/1, the TV presenter’s cool composure and intelligence have impressed viewers.
His odds were slashed into favourite following his inclusion as one of the secret saboteurs.
Cat Burns (3/1) completes the trio of early market leaders after being chosen as the third Traitor by Claudia Winkelman.
Her calm, analytical approach could make her a dangerous and underestimated player as the game progresses.
Comparison to Pre-Series Market
Ahead of Wednesday's series launch, Alan Carr was previously favourite at 5/2, while Jonathan Ross sat at 16/1 and Cat Burns at 10/1.
That has now completely flipped following the first episode’s reveal:
