Rylan remains the 1/4 favourite to host the reboot of reality show Big Brother
Rylan Clark-Neal is still 1/4 favourite with bookies to host the reboot of Big Brother after the show was confirmed to be back on ITV in 2023 last night.
Big Brother's reboot is reportedly ‘drawing closer’ with ITV bosses in ‘advanced talks’ to bring the show back to the airwaves.
Betway make Rylan the favourite to be host of the show likely due to his previous ties with Big Brother as he presented spin-off Big Brother's Bit on the Side on Channel 5.
Big Brother Reboot Presenter | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Rylan Clark-Neal | 1/4 | 80.0% |
Alison Hammond | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Kate Lawler | 10/1 | 9.1% |
Emma Willis | 16/1 | 5.9% |
Davina McCall | 20/1 | 4.8% |
Alison Hammond appeared as a contestant on Big Brother back in 2002 and she is 10/1 joint second favourite with that series winner Kate Lawler.
Emma Willis was the last presenter of Big Brother on Channel 5 and stated that she wouldn't be interested in presenting the show this time.
Big Brother set to return in 2023 on ITV as confirmed during last night's Love Island
During the adverts of the Love Island Final last night, ITV confirmed the return of Big Brother on their channel.
Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning & Acquisitions and Controller at ITV said:
“This refreshed, contemporary new series of Big Brother will contain all the familiar format points that kept viewers engaged and entertained the first time round, but with a brand new look and some additional twists that speak to today’s audience."
Big Brother's return will be massive for UK reality show fans, with the series being off the air for nearly 4 years.
The US edition of Big Brother is now underway
Season 24 of Big Brother USA has been ongoing for three weeks now and as we become used to and get to know the contestants, betting has begun on who will be announced the winner.
Michael Bruner remains favourite with betting sites offering odds of just 3/1 he will be crowned the winner.
The show is set to last approximately 82 days and we've had 23 of them so far, but the betting odds already suggest that Bruner has a 25% chance of victory.
