Mr Generous
There are even betting odds available for which judge will be the first to pick up the 10 score card and award it to one lucky dancing couple. Adam Du Beke is considered the most likely of the strictly come dancing judges to do so.
As we have seen above, an 85% chance that it will happen between weeks 3 and 5.
First Judge to Award a 10
Anton Du Beke is favoured, but there is little between him, Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas. One thing we might be near certain of, and bookmakers reflect this with only a 4% chance is the stern Craig Revel Horwood will not be the first.
Judge | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Anton Du Beke | 6/4 | 40% |
Mosti Mabuse | 2/1 | 33.33% |
Shirley Ballas | 5/2 | 28.57% |
Craig Revel Horwood | 22/1 | 4.35% |

Tom Fletcher's Dancing Training
Anyone with a little background knowledge of the entertainment industry will know that one of the most famous schools to produce performing arts talent is the Sylvia Young Theatre School.
The current favourite to win Strictly this year did attend the performing arts education set up in London, named after its founder, as a child and will therefore almost certainly have some formal training in dance, although we can not confirm if this included strict tempo ballroom dancing.
Given it was such a long time ago and Tom is more used to thrashing a guitar and jumping around on stage with band McFly more recently, whilst he should have a good sense of rhythm, there is no guarantee this will translate into live ballroom dancing skills from his childhood.
