Dan Walker second favourite for this years show

BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker is one of the latest contestants to be announced for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. With the latest stars of the show still slowly being drip-fed as the BBC normally do, there are still 3 more to be announced throughout the week. At 7/1, bookmakers are expecting him to hit the ground running in the show.

Bookmakers will still be stung by 80/1 winner Bill Bailey last year and won’t want a repeat of that this time around, but that success shows that Strictly truly is anyone’s game.

Dragon’s Den’s Sara Davies still remains a 20/1 outsider for the show, with newcomer Tilly Ramsey yet to be priced up by bookmakers.

Tom Fletcher Still Favourite with Bookmakers

McFly’s Tom Fletcher remains the 5/1 favourite for the show, with bandmate Harry Judd winning back in 2011. Fletcher’s wife Giovanna also won the latest series of I’m A Celebrity, so winning reality shows is something that those around him are used to.

That could suggest that McFly fans are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to voting on these types of programs and it’s no surprise therefore that the Bookmakers instantly installed him as favourite.
