Saunter
His last run was his first run for Ian Williams (who has an alright strike rate at Doncaster 15%) and he finished a good 2nd behind a well handicapped 3 year old. Has run well on soft ground before and gets 1m 4f. Jim Crowley has had 11 winners from 45 runners in the past 2 weeks (to a +10 LSP) so will not be short on confidence. The pick will most likely be held up which will suit at this track.
November One-A-Day Comp (Race 1, 1st-15th)
Re: November One-A-Day Comp (Race 1, 1st-15th)
ROYAL LINE
A lot of old friends in this race
Wide open with many chances
Have gone for the favourite who has been well supported
Top trainer and jockey
Distance winner with very good recent form
Very lightly raced and improvement likely
Should give a good account of himself and very hopeful for some points

COHESION
He is a distance winner. He had a decent run, LTO, over the hurdles, but he is really a flat horse, so this is a good surface for him. He seems to be reasonably weighted and has a decent 3lb claimer on board. He has a good draw in the 4 stall. He needs to run at his best to win this, but has a good chance of a place.

Dance the Dream
Lightly raced four year old. Has won three times in nine starts on the turf. Two of those three wins have come in similar conditions including last time out at Leicester when winning over 1m 4f. Has won over this distance. Jockey claiming 7lbs in weights a plus. Respected here today.

minotaur
Think there's enough money in this race for J P McManus to say to Jonjo if he's ready go on give it a go. The 5yr old Minotaur is destined for something if owned by McManus but whether its over the sticks remains to be seen but he has won two hurdle races. Spent life in france until joining Jonjo O'Niell in November 2016 and won numerous races from 1m 4f to 1m 7f. and like many french horses seemed to like soft ground. First five races for Jonjo were over the sticks but his last two since October were on the flat finishing 4th twice, both in Class 2 at Leicester and Pontefract respectively which if the truth be known were probably prep races for the winter sticks campaign but I just cannot see todays race being just for the excercise. Fran Berry takes the ride again and the odds are huge so McManus hasn't had a bet yet, but there's still time.

Machine Learner
Joseph Tuite's inmate Machine Learner gave a very disappointing run last time out at Goodwood over 1 mile 4 furlongs where he was beaten 14 lengths behind Teofonic when seventh of eight which could be a bit of an obvious concern. But this four year old showed great form at Leopardstown on the Irish Champions Weekend in September where he was only denied by a head against Laws Of Spin. That was then followed by a series of good efforts and with a decent price he is worth a chance today. Oisin Murphy has the ride.

Wild Hacked
The horse has been doing its beat work on the all weather but does have a win on softer terrain on its resume. Has also won at the distance. The Marco Botti stable have been in good form, three winners from their last twelve runners. When the trainer pairs up with jockey Daniel Muscutt at this track they have a twenty one per cent strike rate. Would be nice to see backers go wild if this one hacked up

GAWDAWPALIN
trained by Sylvester Kirk with Kieran O'Neill in the saddle, this selection is no stranger to racing over the distance of 12 furlongs, has some ,not bad form at this distance, reruns over the distance of 12 furlongs,in todays contest, can run on soft ground, has ew appeal, in todays contest.

AZARI last ran over the 11f distance at Haydock in September. That was a Class 2 on good to soft. The horse finished second, beaten 2 lengths, off a mark of 96. It might have got closer to the winner if it hadn't dwelt at the start. It's racing off a mark of 95 today, and has previously won over the distance off the 92 mark.

MINOTAUR
Minotaur had an excellent record up until he was gelded. Changed trainer to Jonjo J O'Neil and has been placed since then but wears cheek pieces for the first time today which hopefully will see a return to form. Has an outside stall so should be out of the melee. Has raced over further so distance should not be a problem and has had wins on sft and vsft. Goes well in big fields.
Good luck all
