Saturday
La Liga
Real Betis Vs Deportivo Alaves
15:15
Deportivo Alaves @ 5/1 - General

I am gonna side with the away win in Spain on Saturday afternoon as I feel Real Betis are really struggling at present. Beaten 6-3 by Valencia at home last weekend, Betis shipped four the weekend before against Real Sociedad. Alaves had a good half time full time win away at Levante in their last away day match and they have won three of the last four against Betis including the last two at the Benito Villamarin in Sevilla. 4-1 away to Betis last season, 5/1 seems a big price here.

Saturday 21st October
SCOTLAND: Championship
Dundee Utd v Inverness

Inverness Th Manager John Robertson is slowly get the Inverness team starting to play his way and although 2nd bottom on 6pts with a win and three draws two of those draws where 0-0 games in last two league games and in between those games a 3-0 cup win over Peterhead, John would love to see this team beat Dundee Utd as he had a spell at Dundee , The last time Inverness played at Tannadice Park they won 0-2

In this league anyone can win on the day a win today for Inverness will see them clear of relegation so Away win

3.00pm
Bolton v QPR
(Championship)

BOLTON @ 21/10 Betfair Sportsbook

Whilst not the biggest underdogs of the week Bolton won there first game last week at home to Sheff Wednesday and they are a much better outfit than QPR. Bolton have players coming back from injuries and that has shown in there last 2 results. QPR have yet to win on the road this season and that includes matches at two other bottom 6 teams. QPR have only taken 4 points from a possible 18 in there last 6 games.

Vanarama National League today 3-00pm
Fylde 8/7 v Maidstone 37/19

Maidstone arrive having won their last three away games which includes a 4-1 thumping they gave to
leaders Macclesfield Town and they kept clean sheets in the two other wins at Eastleigh and Barrow
Fylde are ten places and seven points below the visitors at present and although they have lost just
two of seven home games they have only managed one win from the other five. With the recent away
form of Maidstone being stronger than Fylde can offer at home I see them worth selecting at odds of
just under 2/1

21/10/17 3pm
Bolton vs QPR
Bolton 21/10 Betfair
Bolton have been bottom of the league since day 1, but have remained competitive and finally had their first win over Sheff Wed. Summer signing Ameobi made his first start at the Macron and scored in the game and as the Bolton team gets healthier they could make a revival especially at home where in previous seasons they’ve been strong. QPR are winless in 6 and the home team are capable of making it 2 in a row.

Monaco v's Caen french league 1 4.00 Saturday 21st at 4.00 Caen at 17/2 Bet Victor

A very speculative bet today, Monaco are struggling just a little although sitting 2nd in the league they are 6 points behind the leaders and only 4 points ahead of Caen. Caen don't concede many goals, but by the same token don't score many currently after 9 games they are 7:6 whilst Monaco are 24:12. In the ir last 5 games Monaco have drawn 1 won 2 and lost 2, not as good as they would like. Caen have won 3 and lost 2.

The reality is that Monaco should win easily, perhaps the best that Caen would hope for is a 0-0 draw, i am hoping that Caen can nick a goal and keep tight at the back.

I also like WBA at Southampton , the saints are not going well and the fans are getting bit edgy....

21.10.2017
Sky Bet League 2
Coventry v Colchester
Colchester @4/1 Hills.
Colchester have won their last two away games and are adjusting to this division.Coventry lost at home to lowly Forest Green on Tuesday night and seem to be struggling at present.

Premier League

Huddersfield

William Hill 17/2

The big home defeat to Spurs will surely encourage Huddersfield manager David Wagner to make a tactical adjustment against United who may be vulnerable with romeleu Lukaku possibly going in to one of his dry spells, United having had a tough match midweek in Europe and starting to pick up some injuries - so the home team look overpriced

Chelsea Vs Watford 21/10/2017 12:30pm

Someone mention early kick-off curse ;). Chelsea has now failed to win their last three competitive matches, the worst winless run during Antonio Conte's time at the club. Watford has lost just the once in their eight Premier League matches this season, that coming in a 6-0 reverse to Manchester City. Away from home, they've picked up 10 points of a possible 12 and will look to inflict further damage upon a wounded Chelsea here. There could be goals in this game and it may tip towards Watford's favour.

Afternoon Burb123, can you remember to post the price of your selection in future please. I have added Watford to the selection table with a price of 9/1 which was the best I found at the time, thanks

France League One
Marseille vs PSG
Kickoff Time 20.00 Uk Time
Sunday 22nd October 2017.
Odds: Marseille 7.00 Draw 5.50 PSG 1.36
Le Classique; France's biggest football derby takes place this weekend. Marseille are obvious underdogs in this match; having not won their past fourteen matches in this fixture.
PSG,with their much vaunted forward line of Mbappe,Neymar and Cavani are in good form having won eight and drawn one of their last nine league matches.
Both sides come into this match having won in Europe. PSG beating Anderlecht and Marseille edging past Vitoria Guimaraes.
However,Marseille rested most of their key men in that win. The likes of Clinton Njie,Dimitri Payet Kostas Mitroglu did not feature.
Rudi Garcia came into some severe criticism in Marseille's 6-1 loss to Monaco in the league;with questions arising about his big game temperament and tactical flexiblity. However, since that match Marseille have won three and lost one in their last five league matches.
PSG's defence was not upgraded last summer and this is their biggest test yet. Marseille have home advantage and the likes of Payet,Mitroglu and Njie have had sufficient rest. That trident of attacking players on current form is only rivalled by PSG's front three and Marseille i think can win this match.
Marseille to win @7.00by bet365.

OCT 20th - 21st - 22nd RESULTS
A turnout of 20** entrants this weekend with another 4 new players joining the competition, this gives us a total of 39 players in with a chance of taking the season prize (don’t forget: minimum of 15 posts required in the season to qualify for the season cash prize)

There were 3 winning underdogs this weekend and once again many of the underdogs avoided defeat with another 8 games ending in a draw.

The three winning underdogs this weekend were selected by: Matshopsy, bluemal & Ally Boy
With this weeks biggest priced winner, Huddersfield @ 9.5, selected by debutant Ally Boy.
The 8 games ending in draws were selected by the following:
Stretchpaul, SB2704, toadie21, Bigmoose, edandumdum, gracietyke, Scratville & twfaulkner

Backing all 19** selections to win gave a LSP of -1.25pts
Backing all 19** selections to draw gave a LSP of +12.30pts

**
There were 20 selections this weekend, but as 1 game was abandoned (Maidstone, selected by mazeymay) there were only 19 added to the results tables.

The current monthly/season tables will be posted late Monday morning/early afternoon and can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=64105&start=24

If anyone spots an error in the results please pm me and I will check it out a soon as possible

I don’t know if many of you look at the monthly/season tables, but, last weekend I posted a list of the current in form/consistent posters that may have been worth following this weekend, take a look to see how much you could have won :D

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE STILL IN WITH A CHANCE TO TAKE THE OCTOBER CASH PRIZE, NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST OCTOBER WEEKEND, then it all starts again with the September competition.
