I'd like to scrap the transfer window as it causes a panic mentality and ultimately, agents do best out of the whole thing. But then, the thought of a total free for all where anyone can be bought at any time doesn't sound too appealing either. This window showed, no world class players available, top teams offloaded players they saw to be surplus to requirement, but the players weren't available for them to improve at any position.

The January transfer window is making a mockery of Transfers in general, we always see mediocre players going for stupid money in January as the selling club often know they have no chance to replace but if a huge offer comes in then they sell, Ighalo to china for £20m is a prime example.

How much did they sign him for?, probably nowhere near half that.

I agree with Simon about no signings in January but you should be able to make loan deals only
