Vit Kopriva vs Jordan Thompson Tips

I’m sure that he’ll want to step out on what he calls the “hallowed turf” of Wimbledon, but he’s only completed 13 matches all season and retired at Queen’s Club with a back issue and hasn’t been seen since. That’s after various other injuries that have decimated his season, and I feel he’s turning up here hopeful, rather than confident, his body can cope. Kopriva (ranked 78) is more of a clay man, but he beat Gasquet in Wimbledon qualifiers last year and only lost in a final set tiebreak to Quinn in Majorca last week, so he can play on the green stuff. Kopriva is a grinder, and I wonder if Thommo’s body can last the distance?

Jordan Thompson will cover the handicap. His ranking advantage and grass court proficiency suggest a convincing win, likely by a significant margin, against Kopriva, who struggles against higher-ranked players.
