Quentin Halys vs Holger Rune Tips

Holger Rune has won the only previous meeting with Quentin Halys and has a far better record on clay. An impressive straight-sets winner in the previous round, Rune looks a solid bet to progress to the fourth round.

Rune is 10th in the ATP Ranking and Halys is 52nd. Rune comes here after 8 wins and 2 losses in his last 10 matches in all competitions (all on clay), including a loss against Moutet (73rd). Halys has 4 wins in his last 6 matches (all on clay) and at these odds, I will try him.

While Agut took a set off Holger in the first round, I think Holger can win the big points here to ensure a straight sets victory. He wouldn't be the most reliable, but I think he probably has a good edge over Quentin on clay and can see this being 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 or something like that.

In the last meeting in 2024, Quentin Halys led the first 2 sets before Holger Rune turned around the match to a 3-2 win. In this game, I hope, if he gets the chance, he will strive to get the 1st set win. He has at least won 3 of the last 4, so he can fight hard to get it done.
