2025 Australian Grand Prix
The Australian Grand Prix is now settled at its home, the Albert Park circuit where it was staged every year between 1996 & 2019 and after a two-year absence returned on the 2022 calendar.
This is a GP which was switched around a lot before 1996 with Albert Park being the country's 25 different venues for the Australian GP.
Whilst hosted at the Adelaide Street Circuit in 1985, the race was added to the F1 World Championship calendar and the first official Australian Grand Prix took place in 1928.
How long is the Australian Grand Prix?
The race consists of 58 laps, of which each is around 3.3 miles (5.3 km) making up a total race distance of 191 miles (307 km).
The racetrack features a total of just 14 corners for each circuit of the lap with plenty of high-speed straights.
