Del Corso has been placed in one race from four starts. He was third over 1m at Nottingham on his latest outing earlier this month. Course, distance, and going should suit. He seems well treated and could well be able to win this race.

Del Corso been well backed but I'd fear with his pedigree and form in the book he'll find this a bit lively on fast ground. On the other hand my fancy ran a solid second on good to firm here last season over 7f and should handle conditions. Two seconds this season look even better now as the winner from Kempton had run well since in second and the winner from last run at Bath went in again. Looks a nice individual and should be hard to beat here.

Five career runs for the 3yo. A nice AW run three weeks ago, after coming off a six-month break, beaten by a useful-looking, unexposed type. The run should set him up nicely for his return to turf today. He went close in a couple of strong novice races on fast turf ground last summer; those winners are now rated 85 and 93. His handicap mark of 69 today looks attractive.

Placed over course and distance when last seen 206 days ago. Dropped 1 lb for that, so runs off a mark of 57. If ready to run after a layoff, has a great chance of winning this.

Okiru has done all his running so far on the AW without a win but was a decent second in February off a 69 on handicap debut. He could be worth a shot while stepping up to 1 mile for this turf debut off a 67, with a handy 7 lb claimer on top.
