Top class as a 2yo, including winning the Group 2 Gimcrack at York. Missed his 3yo campaign but showed he retains his ability when third in the Katchy Stakes at Lingfield on reappearance LTO. Steps up in trip here, but he was Group 2 placed over 7f as a 2yo and should come on plenty for his return. As an older horse he should see out this trip, and with absolutely no pace on offer I expect Oisin to take the bull by the horns as the best horse in the race and make all. I'm sure connections have aspirations of Group races through the summer, so should be able to claim this prize.

A great sprinter last season for botti and has been off since October last year. Sort of unexposed going into this as far as race fitness and form goes this year but this is a strong race to to be thrown in. Hes won over C&D and botti has landed with his last two runners. Billy Loughnane takes the ride which is a plus given recent form and im hoping for a fresh run.

The 6-year-old did well after switching to the AW last year: 2 wins from 6, two narrow defeats, high RPR ratings posted, and solid form at this Listed level. Two runs this winter after a seven-month break; not beaten far five weeks ago after an awkward start put him in a poor position. A return to the form he showed this time last year would make him a big player.

Cool Hoof Luke could well do well here. However, I'd like to see him replicate his most recent run. I prefer the more consistent Palmar Bay here, a horse which will get this trip and has a top jockey on top.

Runner-up in this race last year. A course-and-distance winner, he will welcome the drop in trip after racing over a mile at Southwell last time out.
