The fitting of first-time cheekpieces could sharpen her up, and she has shown me that she handles good or quicker ground. With Tom Broughton claiming 5lb, she looks a type to run prominently and holds a solid win claim on debut here.

Arctic Voyage is a 3-year-old gelding trained by Iain Jardine and ridden by Brian Hughes. He makes his hurdles debut in what looks like a hot juvenile hurdle for the track. He posted a career-high RPR of 92 on the flat for Ralph Beckett. From a hurdling perspective, his rivals Scarlet Moon and Only One Blue look to have better credentials. However, Iain Jardine knows how to ready one, and Brian Hughes and Iain Jardine are 2-1 with debutantes in 2025, runner-up with Port Station and winning with Jentobello 11-2, albeit coming in bumpers.

Big Gypsy King is just a bit of a punt as all the runners, bar my pick, are stepping into hurdling for the first time. My pick has at least had one run prior, and I would expect more now second up. She has Charlotte Jones in the saddle, who is no slouch which can only help. As there are so few runners, this one is for the win.
