Hasn't won for a while and only 3-33 overall but has posted a couple of good efforts off reduced mark this spring when 2nd at Ripon and 3rd at Leicester. Cheekpieces go on so would be no surprise if they eek out that bit more improvement in him.

This 4-year-old filly has bounced back to her top form, finishing a close 2nd at Thirsk 16 days prior. Under the guidance of Joanna Mason, she is highly competitive at this distance and represents excellent value at 8/1 each-way.

Six runs last year for the 4yo filly, solid form and some good ratings posted. Her only win came with the returning jockey for this contest. A poor start on her return cost her at a track where you can't fall behind. I expect a better showing in this handicap. Still on a handy-looking mark.

Tim Easterby's horses and David Allen were in form yesterday at Hamilton. They could continue on a roll at Redcar with Thats My Boy Luke, who did not run too badly first time out and is now back on last season's winning mark of 63.
