Ed Walker's yard is in excellent form at present, operating at a 14% strike rate over the past three weeks. This filly has had just one run this season, 38 days ago, when making her handicap debut. Held up towards the rear that day, she made encouraging late progress without ever being given a hard race, suggesting she may still be on a workable mark. Since then, the stable has had plenty of time to sharpen her up and this looks like a carefully chosen opportunity. With natural improvement expected from her seasonal return and handicap debut, she appears well placed to break her maiden.

Travelled nicely off the front end, and when pressed she quickened but got outbattled and settled for 2nd over course and distance. Showed a good attitude, and if given a similar ride could prove hard to pass.

Daughter of Kodiac & Rince Beo ( Dam's sire Frankel ) who was last seen racing over this course and distance 15 days ago where not shown to best effect finishing 11th/12 not being ideally placed in a race where the pace did her no favours whatsoever however this race is a whole different scenario one of which will suit Jamie Sommers perfectly well as a good analysis of this Wildwest Beer Festival 4th July Class 5 Handicap ( Fillies ) clearly shows Jamie Sommers will have her favoured pace level at her disposal given the horses enrolled to run here which will play extremely well into her strengths here at the Nottingham turf track currently operating on a mark 66 D Loughnane's inmate looks poised to bounce back and strike here and possesses all the necessary credentials to do so jockey Laura Pearson takes the ride and can give Jamie Sommers a promising ride here at Nottingham shouldn't be by any means underestimated here

Ran a much better race latest, which was its first on the grass over C/D, so it showed some signs of ability and looked like things had finally fallen into place. The trainer does well with the 3yo at this course, and at the odds on show it looks good each-way value.

Finished 6th in all three races to date in much higher company, although did show some effort at Newbury. Drops in distance here and tries cheek-pieces for the first time. Also worth noting the huge drop in class, so this should be much easier.

I'm surprised at the price. His mark could be anywhere between 65 and 75 based on his only run to date over this distance. That was at Thirsk in August on good ground when a 6l fourth of five. Runs here off 66.
