Trojan Sun has won his last two races, one over two miles and one a little further. Those two races were on good and heavy going. With the forecasted ground conditions, Trojan Sun could complete the hat trick off a mark of seventy-seven, which is eighteen pounds higher than his winning mark in July.

The other three races have some excuses, such as in higher classes. He has three wins and twelve places from his twenty-three runs in Class 4 and in the places in six races over today's distance. Several of these horses go well on heavy going, but Dreams Adozen has three wins and a 3rd from his five runs on this going, including last time out, and is only up by 2 lbs for that win at Ffoslas, where heavy is really heavy.

Fair Dinkum comes here in great shape, winning two of his recent races, including on soft ground, and placing second over the distance at Kempton latest. He has been upped a few pounds but should still remain competitive in his current form.

Circuit Breaker, who is by Nathaniel and dam sire Fastnet Rock, has a positive vibe to give notice of acting in the mud, which he does go well in. J J O'Neill has managed to get his charge well handicapped with racing off 75, and he has Kevin Stott booked to ride, who can be sounding out a patient ride with staying on past others that stamina may be draining for a result appearing. Circuit Breaker has run sixteen times with one win from four over hurdles, one win in six on the all-weather, and one win on turf from six. Being a five-year-old, he is not over-raced, which can see him landing this handicap.
