Thriving filly chasing a hat-trick - she ticks all the right boxes for the Rowley straight mile. She comes off decisive wins at Redcar and Kempton, showing handy speed then finding plenty in the tank to finish strongly. The setup suits: 1m on good ground, a high draw (stall 9) that's a positive on Newmarket's straight mile and Harry Davis, who knows her well, retains the ride. She's up only a few pounds to OR 87, but still looks ahead of her mark based on her latest two efforts.

Silent City has had quite a light campaign. However, he has shown enough to suggest that he is well up to winning a race at this level. He won a little race at Kempton before being undone by a superb Danny Tudhope ride at Hamilton in July. The ground was probably a bit too firm last time, but he will prefer the going here. The winner from the Hamilton race won a reasonable race at Ayr on Thursday, so that form might be OK.

Queen Of Atlantis has one win and three places from six runs at this distance and one win in this class, suggesting she holds her form well at this level. She ran to form when beaten just over three lengths off 86 at Goodwood last time and now returns from a short break on 85. With Ashley Lewis claiming seven pounds for Peter Chapple Hyam, she carries a lighter effective weight. She is in stall 1, which should let her sit just off the pace in a race with no obvious front runner.

The only horse in the field with winning experience here, winning over 7 furlongs here on penultimate start back in October 2024. Not seen again since until racing over this trip at Sandown 8 days ago. Will strip fitter for that run and offers place potential on the strength of that previous win at this tricky track.
