Has won five and placed a further sixteen times at this track, and has failed only four times to make the frame from fourteen runs over today's course and distance, winning two of them. Fair fourth over seven furlongs here last time in a Class 5 handicap and can take full advantage of today's drop back into Class 6 company.

Has generally run well on the track, taking out the past effort. Cheeks are taken away, and hopefully that's a positive with a half-decent draw.

Twenty-six of the last twenty-eight runs have all been here, which explains the quite consistent form. The best two runs in the last four have both been in Class Six company, with a win in December and a second-place finish last month. He is the heaviest horse in this race, but another return to Class Six should mean another close effort.

This looks a significantly easier assignment for the well drawn MAUI BREEZE, who did show some spark for new connections when second here just after Christmas from three pounds higher in the handicap. That run also came in a higher grade, so maybe there's a revival against lesser opposition. Certainly a tricky one to rule out.
