Perfidia has won 3 of his 28 starts and bids to follow up his win at Nottingham last Thursday. That was an apprentice handicap so he escapes a penalty. Having also won off this mark at Ripon last year, he looks to have a good chance of going in again.

Unfortunately there are only seven entries for this race and we are looking at the first two for Each-Way, Normally I never go Each-Way when looking at the first two, on this occasion I am going to make an exception. Second Fiddle is one of the outsiders in the field, his fourth place at Hamilton last time out was much improved form to his previous races even though he was beaten by the best part of eight lengths. He is not without a chance in this.
