Damascus Steel has been pants this year until last month when winning a C5 by over 4L, and could defy the 5 lbs rise. He has won on the poly in the past and is worth a chance that last run was true.

Raintown likes it here with six wins under his belt. His last win here was with today's rider in February in a C5 off a 72. He got another win with Taylor at Newbury off a 70. While he's been a bit down the pack of late in C4, I am hoping that getting Taylor back in the saddle today and the return to C5 off a 68 could bring him back in EW.

She tied in the market with Charlie's Choice when racing over ten furlongs here in November. But after a break of 165 days she faded before the finish. She received one pound from Charlie's Choice that day, and with a difference in the weights now of nearly a stone and a 46-day racing interval, she might get closer today.

Blue Universe ran a good second of nine when last seen on the flat and has run creditably over hurdles since. Could be worth an each-way, arriving fresh from a two-month break.
