An M. Blake 8-year-old, sporting 7 wins, is dropping to a C5 for the first time in a good while. Shines at a better level than this, so must be feared.

Course and distance winner. Back in form. Consistent at a mile. Handles this ground and arrives after a strong win. Still well treated and dangerous when rolling.

Jersey Maverick won a race over 7f at York on his latest outing last month. Dropped in trip to 6f, he should be suited, seems well treated, and could well be able to win this race.

An open-looking handicap, as the betting suggests. A winner over the trip and the trainer's strike rate with 3-y-o runners at Leicester cannot be ignored and can add to the win tally this evening.

Won twice over 7f at Ffos Las last summer but has struggled to recapture that form since. Again finished down the field when eighth of 11 at Chepstow 23 days ago, could do better.

Course winner and drawn in stall 3. Also carries less weight due to age allowance. Trainer is in good form at the moment.

Has been struggling a bit after a brilliant start to handicapping and can bounce now a pound lighter than in that win. Drops down in class.
