EXPERT AGENT is interesting. Certainly handicapped to win currently. All-Weather form reads: 21 starts, 3 wins and three thirds. But he is dropping in class tonight. There have been nibbles for him early doors, which is significant for a yard that does well with this type of horse. Entitled to come on for the run last month following a 5-week layoff. Third leg of today's each-way treble. Won off marks of 69/77/82 on the AW. Interestingly, those 3 wins came in the spring months.

Theres a high draw to overcome here but I can't help but think Brazen Idol has every chance. The horse's first run in two years for this new trainer was very encouraging. If that has blown cobwebs away we have a potentially value bet here at current odds.

Up The Anti was a shock 50/1 winner over C&D last December and was noted in the race after that, running an absolute stinker where his chance was gone on the turn in. I think we can discount his two amateur races since they're no yardstick, and the Lingfield run wasn't as poor as it looks on paper. Now down to his last winning mark and off bottom weight, I think there's a place to be had.
