A lightly raced 3-year-old. He was last seen earlier this month, finishing a close 5th of 6 over 7 furlongs at Wolverhampton. Upped to a likely suitable 8 furlongs for his handicap debut, with Callum Rodriguez booked to ride. He has a decent opportunity in an open-looking race.

Hamaleel represents Archie Watson’s stable. This trainer’s horses have won 23% of their races over the past two weeks (3 out of 13) and have finished in the top three on three further occasions. Hamaleel won a C&D race at the end of January and finished second in her last race at Wolverhampton on 3 March.

Gnocchi might not be best suited to the 6??'7f sprint and has struggled a lot. He goes up in trip to a mile and has maintained the same mark as last time in Yarmouth against the same class of company. The market seems to undervalue this runner, who showed good speeds in Newbury.
