Park Annonciade looks poised to go close here, despite still being a maiden over fences after six starts. He has been knocking on the door in recent outings, finishing 2nd last time out in a Class 4 handicap chase over 2m1f, beaten just 1¼ lengths by Kool Kid off 109. Prior to that, he was 3rd in a similar contest over 2m, beaten 1½ lengths by Milan Tino off 110. That earlier race also featured Homme d'Un Soir, who re-opposes here. Based on that form, it looks unlikely the placings will be significantly reversed. Now running off 110 again, he appears to be holding his form well and remains on a consistent mark. Given his recent performances and proximity to a breakthrough win, this looks a good opportunity for him to finally get off the mark over fences.

This drop back to 2m on better ground will suit after being outstayed over further on soft ground last time. Gets a pound back off the handicapper here.

Revitalised as a 10-year-old and comes here off the back of a win. Managed to secure back-to-back wins last year and should be tough to stop doing the same feat today.
