On the face of it, Thunderstorm Katie is consistent in that she always gets involved at the business end. But five wins in 31 at the lower levels isn't blinding form. She has been knocking on the door again lately with rapid finishes to go down fighting. It seems frustrating that she gets held up so long, and they don't seem to be learning from it. Possibly a repeat of the last few runs might work with this extra furlong, while still fairly handicapped (claimer assures this is now a winning mark to run off).

A nice run over 7f two weeks ago from the 6yo, showing a high cruising speed. His rivals pushed a long way from home, but he ran out of gas in the closing stages. He should be better for the run, and the drop down to 6f can help. He started his last campaign with four narrow defeats and four high RPR ratings. This handicap is a lower grade from what he running in last year and he's around 12 lb better off now.
