ABDUCTION looks to have a chance if getting back in the groove here. Likes the soft, still holds a decent-looking handicap mark, and recent disappointments at Ayr have served to make that mark even more competitive. The draw looks favorable, so he could well run his race and looks overpriced here.

Jack Mitchell is back on board this one for the first time in a while and that looks significant now that the horse has slipped back to a decent mark. His 3 rides on the horse last year resulted in 3-1-2 and the win was off 71 with the 2nd being beaten just a length off 75, both were on soft ground. He's racing here off 72 with the favoured visor/tongue tie combo being used again. Should go very close.

Came good this time last year with a win on heavy ground. Not at his best in three runs so far this season, but he is down to just a pound above his last winning mark, and has shaped as if he could do with some headgear, which he now gets.
