He's not been hurried to over-race, and he has steadily been upped in trip as he's developed. This is the furthest he's been asked to race; however, his breeding suggests that this should be his ideal trip. It's the first run of the season for him, but the trainer is quite capable of having them ready on seasonal debut.

Did well to finish thid over course and distance last time out when rearing in the stalls and at the back from the start. Remains on the same mark and should go close if breaking smarter.

Showed useful ability at his best but went winless in 2025 and has yet to do enough in two starts this year to suggest his losing run is close to ending.

Hugo Palmer is a trainer with a few successes here at Chester, so his pupil could go for a bold bid today under Probert, who also is in the top 10 at this track. Winner on debut on soft at Nottingham, and first time in Class 3, down from Class 4 last time out.

It is hard to argue against Lexington Jet in this. His previous win here at Chester was against stronger opposition on average. However, he did come out of stall 2 last time and now starts in stall 7. He is in the form of his life, and an each-way bet seems very good value.

Is well below last winning mark. Ran well two starts ago. Could be ready to strike soon. Just hoping today is that day off a nice price.

Sec I'm MD in the penultimate race. On best form, would be able to be competitive here, and ground conditions will aid the cause.
