Runninsonofagun has plenty going for him in this competitive handicap and his previous form at Ayr is a major positive. He looks capable of bouncing back to his best, and with Jack Garritty taking the ride, he can make his presence felt and land the spoils.

Supreme Clarets looks a lively chance at a double-figure price. He's been knocking on the door with three runner-up finishes from his last five starts, including over 7f, and now drops to OR 65. With Warren Fentiman claiming 3lb, he could be ready to finally get his head in front.

If the forecast is accurate and the rain arrives during the day, Highfield Viking will be a different proposition than he has been in his three starts so far this season. He is a far better horse with some give underfoot. In his ideal conditions, he can grind it out as the ground slows the others down.

Ubetterseethis ran a good race last time out in decent company. A reproduction of that form will see him bang there again today.

A winner off 77, he is more than capable of winning off a mark of 66 tonight. Finished a length and a half 4th in a Class 4 race here last season when returning from a 217-day break off a mark of 78. This race is easier as he returns from a 102-day break, and he seems overpriced.
