LIGHTS GO DOWN, taking on his elders, may try to make all and possibly set the race up for a hold-up horse. JERICOACOARA has been dropped in class and the handicapper has eased him considerably to 110 from 122 when he started out. The last time he was in this class was at Wetherby when the ground was good, which was against his ability to act on the surface. He could be capable of a big run.

El Jefe is closely matched with both Diamond Geezer and Eloi Du Puy from when they were 1st, 2nd, and 3rd over course and distance in January. He took it up too soon at the second-last from Eloi Du Puy and faded after a mistake at the last.
